 In our VB Application, we used "ised.dll" along with "pdf.ocx".  If the users has Adobe 7 installed, they get an error on the PDF.ocx file.  The pdf.ocx file came with Adobe 6, and did not come with Adobe 7 professional.

So, I new question is do I need an upgraded version of pdf.ocx for Adobe 7, or some other equivalent file from Adobe 7?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Corky!
I can remind me that i've read already something about it. The new version 7 don't use the pdf.ocx - now it's the AcroRd32.dll. How to access/use this dll is well explained/documentated on the adobe-website.
I can imagine that it's a problem when the version 7 is installed/registered and you want to use the pdf.ocx.
You can detect if version 7 is installed or not. If it's version 7 use code for the new dll - if not use your pdf.ocx.
Cheers,
Ingo

Lots of developers assumed that "pdf.ocx" was there for them to use.  In fact, Adobe never published documentation for it, and ONLY intended it to be used by browsers.

As of Reader 7, Adobe now includes a fully documented COM object that can be used to display and print PDFs.  It's documented in Adobe's IACReference.PDF.

@chicks @ingo:
Both of you mention the well documented Adobe IACReference.PDF
Does anyone of you have a delphi example of how to access Adobe Reader with this COM interface?

Hi!
Is there an easy (and safe) methode to detect the local actual used reader-version? The described com-object is only for version 7 - there're still many version below 7 out there...
Cheers,
Ingo

Hi,
We are using Delphi and had the same problem.
Now we create TWebBrowser and send PDF to it.

Maybe it's slower but You have no problem with Reader versions.

If you use Twebbrowser you can also load different filetypes in the browser than PDF and HTML.

If you download DWF viewer from Autodesk you can watch DWF drawing files.

SVG files made by Adobe or exported from MS viso can be used for diagrams for customer that not have Visio.

This is some filetypes to use in TWEBBROWSER

Have a nice delphi trayout of the browser.

Remenber to load a file localy I use this code :

  WB.Navigate(WideString(loadfilepdf), Flags, Flags, Flags, Flags);

or

function file_to_html(str1 : string):string;
var str2,str3,str4,str5 : string;
i,bb : integer;
begin
bb:=length(str1);
str2:=str1[1];
str3:='|';
str4:='file:///';
str5:='';
for i:=0 to bb do
begin
if i > 2 then
str5:=str5+str1;
end;
result:=str4+str2+str3+str5;
end;

or

Wb.Navigate('D:\d\dh4\test\labels\test1.pdf');

Despite their vast socioeconomic differences, Noah and Allie fall passionately in love. Their romance is abruptly cut short by Allie's disapproving parents and the onset of World War II. After years of separation, during which Allie becomes engaged to a wealthy soldier named Lon Hammond Jr. (James Marsden), Noah and Allie cross paths again. The film explores the agonizing choice Allie must make between her stable future and her first true love, culminating in a powerful revelation about the elderly couple in the present day. Why "Dual Audio (Hindi Org + Eng)" is in High Demand

Ultimately, The Notebook explores timeless themes of memory, fidelity, and the enduring nature of love. Whether experienced through the original English dialogue that charmed audiences in 2004 or through a meticulously produced Hindi dub that brings the story closer to home, the film remains a masterclass in romantic storytelling. The intersection of classic Hollywood narrative and modern audio technology ensures that Noah and Allie's story will continue to be told, understood, and felt across linguistic boundaries for generations to come.

While the easiest places to find fan-made dual-audio files are third-party websites, it is critical to understand the risks involved. MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, Teen Choice

The story is a sweeping epic of love and memory. In the present day, an elderly man (James Garner) reads a love story from a worn notebook to a fellow nursing home resident (Gena Rowlands). The tale he reads is of two young lovers from the 1940s: a passionate but poor mill worker named Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) and a wealthy, beautiful debutante named Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams). Despite their deep love, they are separated by class differences and the onset of World War II. The film traces their journey as they reunite years later, forcing Allie to choose between a stable, comfortable future and the enduring, all-consuming love she feels for Noah.

Vital for understanding specific historical context or low-whisper dialogues. The Cultural Impact of The Notebook in Hindi

Audiences look for encodes sourced from the official Blu-ray or 4K UHD remasters, ensuring accurate color grading, deep contrast ratios for the film's nostalgic cinematography, and a lack of digital compression artifacts. Years later, they reunite, forcing Allie to choose

The Notebook is a film meant to be felt deeply. Whether you are revisiting Noah and Allie's rain-soaked embrace for the hundredth time or introducing a family member to the movie for the first time, the version offers the ultimate viewing experience. By ensuring you find a version with official "ORG" Hindi audio and crisp high-definition video, you preserve the magic of this legendary love story for years to come.

The safest and most reliable way to watch The Notebook in the best quality is through official streaming platforms.

Ryan Gosling lived in Charleston, South Carolina, for two months before filming to immerse himself in the character. He rowed the local rivers, built furniture by hand (including the kitchen table featured in the movie), and adapted to a slower coastal lifestyle.

When searching for the definitive edition of The Notebook in dual audio, understanding file container formats and audio bitrates ensures you get the premium cinematic experience. Recommended Specification Why It Matters 1080p BluRay / 4K UHD Remux

India is a multilingual market where Hollywood films find massive success when localized. Having an official Hindi track allows non-English speaking family members or friends to enjoy the film together, making it a staple for shared viewing experiences. Critical and Cultural Impact
