The combat system in PuraPura Blasters is extremely similar to the battle mechanics found in the main game, meaning moves, user interface elements, and character movement are carried over directly, giving the mode a familiar yet fresh feel. New additions to the mode include a mission timer, an Oni Orb counter, and a handy “Ping” feature that activates when the player presses the “L” button.
