Jim reports his commercial 45 copy of Andrea True Connection's "More, More, More (Pt. 1)" has an actual and printed run time of 3:02. I'm passing this along because the song's database CD entries containing a "45 version" comment range from 2:57-3:10.

Kavinsky - Outrun -2013- -flac- !!install!! Today

The defining hit (famously featured in Drive ), featuring haunting vocals from Lovefoxxx. It remains the anchor of the album's romantic, melancholic theme.

You might ask: "Isn't synthwave just simple loops? Why does lossless matter?"

To put it in perspective, the same four-minute song that clocks in at around 9 MB as an MP3 will be a FLAC file. It's a significant storage investment, but for those equipped with quality headphones or speakers, the sonic rewards are immense.

, which relies on deep, pulsating basslines and intricate analog synthesizer layers, FLAC ensures: Zero Quality Loss:

: For those interested in the technical side, Reverb Machine breaks down the specific synthesizer sounds and production techniques used in "Nightcall". Kavinsky - OutRun -2013- -FLAC-

Listening to OutRun in a compressed format like MP3 strips away the depth of its production. Standard streaming compression squashes the dynamic range, making the dense layers sound muddy.

As the sun began to rise—a pixelated, synth-wave orange bleeding over the horizon— "Nightcall"

In short:

The year was 2013. The digital landscape was shifting, and a subculture that had been bubbling in the underground of internet forums and MySpace pages was about to burst into the mainstream. At the epicenter of this sonic explosion was Vincent Belorgey, better known to the world as Kavinsky. When he dropped his long-awaited debut studio album, , it did not just release; it detonated. The defining hit (famously featured in Drive ),

The definitive way to experience Kavinsky: OutRun in FLAC

When listening to OutRun in a highly compressed format like MP3, the heavily layered, distorted synthesizers can easily turn into a muddy sonic sludge. In , however, the brick-walled, aggressive production style engineered by Sebastian (of Ed Banger Records fame) breathes with terrifying dynamics. 1. Prelude

in 1986 and reappeared in 2006 as a zombie producing electronic music. It is heavily inspired by 1980s aesthetics, Miami Vice, and Sega’s 1986 arcade game Lossless FLAC Specifics Audio Quality: Digital FLAC files for this release typically match the 16-bit / 44.1 kHz

The crisp "fizz" of the analog synth leads and the splash of the hi-hats become dull and metallic. Why does lossless matter

For audiophiles and synthwave enthusiasts, experiencing OutRun in format is not merely an option—it is essential to appreciate the rich, meticulously layered production. 1. The Lore of the "Zombie" DJ

For audiophiles, collectors, and music purists, experiencing this cinematic masterpiece in is not just a preference—it is the only way to truly appreciate the dense, analog-heavy architecture of Kavinsky’s dystopian vision. The Genesis of the Outrun Phenomenon

Red Book CD standard, though some high-res digital storefronts may offer

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

Couldn't find any decent videos on YouTube of the 45
playing, but I think all of the 3:00 versions of
the song in the database actually run 1% faster than the
45.

Can anyone verify? Calling Mark Matthews.

Agree with crapfromthepast that Rhino's Disco Years,
Volume 1 is the best digital source for this classic. This
CD sounds like it is sourced from lower generation tape
sources than the other options, and tastefully mastered.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
