Hx711 Proteus Library -
Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default in Windows. Enable "Hidden items" in your File Explorer View tab to see it.
To "tell" Proteus the HX711 exists, you must place these files in the correct directory:
Look at the bottom console log to find the file path ending in .ino.hex .
C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 7 Professional\LIBRARY hx711 proteus library
If you found this library helpful, let us know in the comments below! Happy simulating!
Two selectable differential input channels (A and B). On-chip Low Noise PGA: Selectable gains of 32, 64, and 128.
Now it is your turn. Download the library, open Proteus, and build your first virtual weighing machine. Once the simulation works, ordering the physical components will feel like a formality – because you already know the design works. Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default in Windows
Find and download the third-party from reputable electronics design sites or platforms like The Engineering Projects or GitHub. The zip file contains two essential types of files: .IDX (Index files) .LIB (Library files) Step 2: Copy the Files to Proteus Library Path Extract the downloaded .zip file. Locate the two extracted .LIB and .IDX files. Paste them into the Proteus installation library directory.
Obtain the library files (usually a .ZIP containing HX711.LIB and HX711.IDX ).
: The 24-bit conversion simulation can be resource-heavy. Try increasing the simulation step time in Proteus options if your computer lags. To help tailor this guide further, let me know: On-chip Low Noise PGA: Selectable gains of 32, 64, and 128
Locate a reliable electronics community repository (such as GitHub or Engineering Projects) to download the HX711 library zip folder.
If you cannot find the folder, you can open Proteus, go to , and look at the “Library Paths” entry—the folder path will be listed there.
Verify timing in firmware:
While useful, the community-made libraries have known limitations:
Since Proteus does not include the HX711 module in its default components database, you must source it from third-party engineering communities.
