Agisoft offers several licensing models, each with its own type of activation key:

A common question is whether a Metashape license can be sold or transferred to someone else. The official policy is clear: you may not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your license to any third party. The license is associated with the original licensee and cannot be legally resold. This can happen with trial licenses or permanent keys. The recommended solution is to email support@agisoft.com with the first section of your license key. The support team can then investigate and resolve the issue on their end.
