The (often referred to as the UHD or 4K pack) is an optional, free DLC for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition on PC. It is designed to replace the standard game assets with ultra-high-definition textures.

Because these textures are uncompressed, they require significant storage space and robust computer hardware. The DLC essentially doubles the storage footprint of the base game.
